HELLO, I’M
RUIN RODRIGUEZ
MULTIDISCIPLINARY GAME DEVELOPER
I work where spatial design, visual development, and technical implementation meet. I enjoy turning broad creative direction into playable spaces, practical systems, and visual communication that a team can test, discuss, and carry forward.

CORE DISCIPLINES
Five connected disciplines—each grounded in practical production work and linked evidence.
LEVEL DESIGN
Player flow, pacing, routes, landmarks, composition, spatial hierarchy, and environmental guidance.

VIEW PROOF →HOW I WORK
I like to make the work understandable early—what we are solving, what needs testing, and what the next person will need from me.
DEFINE
I start by listening: what experience are we trying to create, which constraints are real, and which decisions need to stay flexible?
PROTOTYPE
I put the risky questions on screen early. A rough route, interaction, or visual system is easier to discuss than an assumption.
ITERATE
I review the work in context, invite feedback, and keep refining readability, pacing, hierarchy, and performance while change is still practical.
HANDOFF
I leave the work clean enough for someone else to continue: organized dependencies, documented decisions, verified credits, and a clear next step.
WHAT I BRING TO A TEAM
My best work happens where disciplines overlap and clear communication keeps the original intent intact.
DESIGN TRANSLATION
I turn creative direction into spaces, systems, prototypes, and production decisions a team can respond to.
CROSS-DISCIPLINE COMMUNICATION
I connect design, art, technical implementation, and production needs using a shared practical language.
RAPID VALIDATION
I build testable work early so important questions can be answered before expensive polish.
PRODUCTION CLARITY
I keep work reviewable, documented, organized, and understandable to collaborators.

LEVEL DESIGN · TECHNICAL ART · GAME / SYSTEMS DESIGN · MULTIDISCIPLINARY DEVELOPMENT · CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY
I am especially interested in roles where design, systems, implementation, and visual development overlap.
I am also open to ambitious prototypes, unusual production challenges, hybrid roles, and problems that do not fit neatly inside a single discipline.
